Bump. I want you guys to revisit this thread!
I guess i'm supposed to list mine too now. I've been quite lucky in that department considering i still dont have a license, but my brother has always built cars, i'm on good terms with the drift people here and i worked in a subaru dealer for around 3 months. The boring ones: 2007 Ford Focus estate (for the last few years, daily driver.) Mazda 3 old one(Or something like that. Mom's old dd) Bmw the-one-before-e46, estate Hyundai something, very old, very small, no power-anything. Lovely. Subaru Impreza GT - pointless s**tbox Bmw x5 07 full spec - not very comfy on 12 inch wide rears, but decent car. Audi A4 07 - very comfy, good soundsystem Bmw e92 estate diesel - comfy and all over good. Nothing especially good. Subaru Legacy, old gold one - spectacular car for the price range Golf mk1 - just lovely Subaru Outback ~04 - all over good car, s**tty gearbox, moves well in sport+ mode Various Subarus, new and old- legacys, outbacks, xv, one tribeca. The cool ones: Absolute favourite, MK4 Supra with a bit under 1000bhp - Chill to drive until you lay into the accelerator. Mind bending acceleration, a bit scary when you discover how quickly you go over every limit triplefold. The only time i've experienced tunnel vision when driving. Ghetto Volvo 240 diesel estate w turbos and s**t(280-350bhp) - absolute fun to drive, welded diff makes for angry neighbours telling you to clean up your "skidmarks". Gotna thumbs up from a homeless guy heard the bov. Street class drift car(e36) on a few drift days and tandems on ice. Est 300bhp - great fun on ice. not too much fun on flat, dry asphalt. Very brief time driving a pro drift *deducted because of Rando* w 700bhp ls7 - off the trailer and a bit around track. Refused all other times when driver was drunk after event, too much responsibility and too little experience for me. Very touchy and precise, difficult to drive. An older Subaru Forester w ~350bhp from a hyuuge turbo - GREAT fun. A very good daily driver. Very easy to drive but not too comfy. Raced a biker after repeatedly overtaking eachother on highway - subaru sleeper won on acceleration. After selling the forester, brother has a crx del sol w. a civic noseswap now. Ex show car build. We'e currently putting an 11k revving b16 in it. One of the best experiences driving this. Drove it somewhat often. A lot of fun even to commute around the city with a 800kg super rigid platform. Absolute top car. Probably a few more in both categories but i spent lots of mindpower remembering all this stuff and i'm tired. Still haven't gotten a chance to drive a true Nissan :'( This post has been edited by Remps: Dec 8 2015, 04:53 PM |
