The whole car needs a seriously redone, but the restoration plan sounds good, and well made can give you awesome results!
As I said in Facebook, I have the 1.0 engine of this one in the garage of the institute (where we do practices) so yeah, would be cool if you tell me about your engine. OHV one too? |

Yeah it's a 1300 Kent Crossflow OHV.
And by breaking the car I mean taking all the bits off it that are worth money and then taking an angle grinder to the shell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) Completely not cost effective to attempt any restoration. I'd rather get money and put it towards one I'll actually be able to drive. |

The best thing you can do is take parts from the junkyard, I'm sure there are thousands of Fiestas you can approach its parts, also I'm not in the trims theme, but you could do something like a XR2 or something. Like upgrading the car.
Also I would recommend you to improve that engine, because with the OHV dsitribution, was so bad to fill cylinders at high revolutions, which results in a lose of power. If you can, find someone that can paint it and fix it for an affordable price, if you were here I would lead you to talk to my friend Dani, he offered to paint and fix my 406 for 800 euros. |

They may be common in Spain but over here they all rotted away like mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/xd.gif) If you could find some doors and wings and send them to me ;D ;D ;D |

Angle grinder.
Sell all the ghia bits which are worth quite a bit, and then buy one that's roadworthy. |
