eh, my hood is made from aluminum so it weighs more or less the same as a CF one. no point really.
I probably won't put an emblem on but if I do it will be something like this: (IMG:http://www.evoxtuning.com/images/rexpeed/thumbnails/S23-285x244.jpg) |

I didn't have a carbon fiber pattern logo. lol. It was only a thought but I never got it.
I'm thinking of getting a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo next as a project. |

Welcome back the the 7th gen civic club (IMG:style_emoticons/default/good.gif) mods thus far: Upgraded Moog oiled sway bar end links Weapon-R Intake I wouldn't recommend this intake. fitment freaking sucks and I've actually LOST MPG... :| I should have gotten an AEM V2. lol I like how in the short time owning it, I've already done more to it than when I had my old one for years. lol |

Isn't any intake, or anything on this gen civic pointless anyways to begin with? I thought about doing stuff at first, but it ended up in reading a lot about how there is no point. End results are usually very similar to stock or worse, unless you drop lots of money.
All I've got is a literally rusty nav unit I was given just for aux, and integra LS mesh rims which are also corroded and used for my winter tires (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) Looking for something new... |

More or less, TBH I mainly got it to be able to inspect the filter easier. There are like 12 screws holding the filter in place on the stock airbox! I needed a new filter anyways so I just got an entire intake. I read that at very least I should see an increase in fuel efficiency... apparently not. at least not with this intake. Bruh, I'm actually looking for LS Mesh wheels. lol. They look great on this car. |

Yea that makes sense. Are you planning to keep the civic as a daily or is it just temporary until you sort out your new daily/project combo?
And I'm not a very big fan of the Ls mesh's. They look okay at some angles but not so nice at others. Plus they'd be much nicer if they weren't convex shaped.. I actually prefer my stocks, but I guess the regular civic stocks aren't too nice? My "civic" is technically an Acura (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) (IMG:http://i64.tinypic.com/34pxmia.jpg) (IMG:http://i67.tinypic.com/j604dd.jpg) |

Ah, nice. You got an EL. You have rear disc brakes right? I'm jealous.
I'm rocking steelies with stock hubcaps right now. The LS would definitely be an upgrade. Yours already had pretty nice wheels to start. Yes, the civic is temporary... but maybe long term temporary. I plan to get a nice daily eventually but I'm waiting for basically the perfect car for the perfect price. I'm in no rush and don't mind driving this Civic until I find the perfect one. |

someone in my old car club post this pic. Spotted in Orlando FL. New owner got it running on its own power again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)
It made me happy to know so I thought I'd share. (IMG:http://i67.tinypic.com/23igcig.jpg) wish he took a better pic lol but there is enough here for me to know its my car, even down to the crease dent on the door from the time a truck hit my door with their door. lol |
