Went to a little meet today with a few people from my town. We drove about 2 hours to get there.

A syncro Jetta Diesel would be pretty sweet.
Imagine all the MPGs! |

Nope. It's 270 cammed 2.0L from a 1995 golf mated to a 1987 diesel long gear trans. And it is lowered on raceland lowering springs. Not everyone slams their s**t to the ground.

Idk.
They look sweet in black. It gives the car some kind of attention to details EDIT: Also, they match your mirrors. If it was my car I would paint the sidetrim and front lip to black This post has been edited by Victor.: May 12 2013, 11:22 PM |

I'd say black aswell
I never liked those civics (the whole fourdoorness and stuff) but I look at yours and i have such an appreciation for it. Like all the detail and care you've put into it, and it looks really good too. Props dude |

they aren't staying black. It throws off the entire ground effects of the car. Even just painting the front and rear lips black would still be off. They'd all need to be bare plastic. That and my own personal preference is color matched.

It's an old mustang dyno. It's been said that it reads about 12% low. That puts me right around 180-185 crank hp. And the owner said that Type R b18c's run 150hp on his dyno. Which is a 200hp engine. I was 10 hp and 20 ft lb over a jdm b16a that ran in the slot right before mine.
My engine isn't an extreme build by any means. It's just for fun. With what I've got, I've essentially got a non-vtec type R motor. Except I put down more low end torque. |
