Hey guys, I would give you a massive story, but I can't be bothered right now, so i'll give you the basics. Completely standard, some minor scuffage on the front bumper and a busted indicator stalk. Door lock is different to the ignition and the remote central locking didn't work as a result. Oh, and it tried to set fire to itself after one of the HT leads decided it wouldn't insulate anymore and short out back to the distributor.
So far I have fitted the aero blades from my old Arosa, re-programmed the remote key for the car and replaced all four leads. Phew. Now, no-one likes a pictureless topic, so here you go (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/579257_3574842900811_1565227316_3345621_1317954726_n.jpg) Nice little cameo from the Arosa there (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/547977_3574842340797_1565227316_3345620_27638606_n.jpg) (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/s720x720/542063_3574851221019_1565227316_3345627_1261781607_n.jpg) (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/529754_3574851901036_1565227316_3345628_1738555552_n.jpg) (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/s720x720/532667_3574856861160_1565227316_3345634_1360529247_n.jpg) Did the whole re-routing the Cassette Aux cable round the back of the headunit job (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/301836_3574857261170_1565227316_3345635_1743528024_n.jpg) I do like these seats (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/550116_3574859221219_1565227316_3345637_479665965_n.jpg) Surprisingly large inside (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/562684_3574860461250_1565227316_3345639_899169501_n.jpg) Paints not in bad nick either. So there you go, I suppose you'll want some plans as well? Right, first of is getting it running right, probably a full service to try and bring back some lost horses, then fixing the little odds and sods like the indicator stalk, the drivers mirror (just get a stubby) and the bumper damage. After that i'll get some coils, get colour coding and replace those god awful 13's. Might try and source the rear beam from a cupra or polo GTI for discs on the back if anyone knows thats possible? Ooh, almost forgot, i'll be fitting my sub and amp combo in at some point as well, so that'll be quite high on the list. And to finish off, a nice photoshopped plan for you to look at (IMG:https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/529720_3574833100566_1565227316_3345616_1967216005_n.jpg) This post has been edited by Curtis: Apr 12 2012, 08:50 PM |

hope the radio gets out, when the power is off.
our old Seat always played the radio, even when power was off. (same kind of console as yours.) Lily is in nice nick, keep care of her. |

lol agree about the seats, you like weird seats.
Get nicer wheels than what you shopped. They look like factory wheels that were rattlecanned black. Get something sportier and less cheap looking. |

Sporty wheels would look dumb imo. OEM+ is dope. Audi wheels (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)

They're pretty ugly imo, I'm a fan of Maybach wheels, but neither of those suggestions would fit I'm pretty sure. Plus, they're not cheap lol.

Those wheels are the VW Estorils, only reason i want monoblocks is to hide the drum brakes at the back lol, if i got a disc conversion then 'sportier' wheels would be on the cards
