I thought this would be good for some friendly competition.
Who's car on here is the fastest? Post up your dyno sheets, drag slips, or even just estimates. My car: 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart According to stock statistics for my car... and considering my car is indeed stock. I am putting out somewhere between 220-240 HP. A lot of cars have more then that, but my car really shines because of its transmission. An electronically controlled twin clutch AWD transmission. My car shifts so fast that you never even hear my blow off valve open while gunning it = no loss of boost while gunning it. This allows my car to run 0-60 in 6 seconds and a 1/4 mile of just over 14 seconds, pretty good for a heavy car with only 230 HP. |

My estimate is 670bhp, 1200lbs, and 69000ft/lbs of torque. But of course it's just a guess.
I run 1/4s on the 14 mile. This post has been edited by .ecyrB: Dec 3 2010, 12:09 AM |

well the ol' v12 is putting out about 560hp, weighs about 2900. pretty heavy. the cross tranny has larger ratios for higher rpms. does a 1/4 in about 8.01 sec and the mile in 7.2.

I know, I was just busting his chops. Thats probably at least like two whole car lengths. lol 2 seconds is a whole lot more than just 2 car lengths at that speed. Figuring that your car would probably hit the finish line a bit under 100 mph, 2 seconds means about 140 to 150 feet at that speed. And it's just an estimate because the car has never actually ran on a 1/4 mile. Looking at similar cars with similar 1/8 miles it should actually be a little under 12 hopefully. My engine is only a 350 cu. in. engine. it's not really that big of an engine. The LS3 is 376 cu. in. and comes stock at something like 420 or 430 hp. LS engines are electronically fuel injected and tuned up with a bunch of other newer technologies. My engine is much older. with a carburetor instead of efi. Back then these engines stock ranged anywhere from 160hp to 270hp. |
