I think you'd have to black out all of the chrome if you were gonna do it

Make the trim on the grille and fenders black, make the emblem red, like the old Mitsubishi logos, we had that on our Lancer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toothygrin.gif)

5.114.3 is the same bolt pattern as the Evo 5, 6 and 7. I know you didn't get them in the USA but surely the wheels off them must show up on eBay from time to time? Just an option

all the guys use plasti-dip. It is super rugged and doesn't chip.
I'm probably going to end up going with the Rotas because they are so much cheaper. even if they don't have as many sizing options, I'm willing to take the hit if I can save like $500 |

aren't those all just BBS wheels anyways? Nope, Evo 5s and 6s had ones from OZ Racing, dunno about 7. Everyone only bashes Rota because it somehow became the cool thing to do, they aren't even that bad, there's about a million worse brands out there. inb4brokenrotaphoto |

Rota was bought out by a different company quite awhile back and have since changed pretty much everything but the fact that they make knock offs of other rims.
Before they were bought out they were known to often be defective which is when everyone started to hate them. They are still trying to live down that bad rep from the previous ownership. |

I take that back... according to this:
http://www.rotawheels.com/hist.shtml They have always been owned by PAWI... if PAWI only makes rota wheels... why isn't the company just called rota wheels? idk... throws me off. Either way, they mainly make OEM wheels for a lot of manufacturers and have done so for a long time... so they definitely have experience. It may have been when they started making replicas of after market wheels instead of following their own designs where things went sour... either way, they seem to have their act together now. |

Where the heck am I supposed to find used Work wheels? They aren't exactly all over the place. I'd have more luck finding used RPF1s lol
If anything, I'd get a quote for the Rotas I want from the WheelDudes guy on the EvolutionM forums and then take the quote to my local Work distributer and see if they will match the price. I will probably end up doing that anyways just because the Work distributer is like 10 minutes from my house. Pretty surprising to me! Some of the cars on the Work website are actually cars from the shop near my house! anyways, If I do get Rotas... I'll be sure not to get these (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=15 They only come in 15"s anyways... thats like the stock steelie wheel size on my old civic! What the heck kind of car did they have that on? a mini? |

To me, its all pretty much the same s**t. They are all aluminum, there are only so many ways you can cast something... and either way, its only going to make it slightly stronger.

The more you spend on automotive parts technically means the more quality it is.
cost - 80? (IMG:http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/1602/img05087ep.jpg) cost - 500 (IMG:http://fifaracing.com/catalog/images/hre540r.jpg) basically what im saying is. if you put so much time into earning that money and put quite a bit of money into the car. why cheap out on the rest of it? wheels are pretty important for things other than looking good.
