NOTE! the indicators where just going off when i took the picture its not that dark!!
Video of indicators onif im right in thinking the brightness is ok, im only worried about the reflectors, on my car its the bottom half thats the reflective part. i'll have to get my friend to drive behind me and see if he can see them or wait til its dark and test them...

Get yourself some pressed metal plates! They look soo much better and just add a nice clean edge to your car ;D Also sort out your O/S front wing, Take a plunger to that dent and sort the fitment at the front end

De-badging might not be a bad idea. Thought about body-coloured trims and mirrors?

i dont want to debadge it cause i like the badge lol, theres about 3 dents on that wing that need sorting and a couple by the bottom left corner of window by the petrol flap. metal plates sound cool but idk if there legal here? :/

They are if they're reflective.

dubmeister do guaranteed legal pressed plates for around £25-30. There are cheaper ones on ebay but i wouldn't be inclined to trust them as much

moving off the moding topic.
driving home from college today my indicator stalk is very sensitive. sometimes when i clicks off it hits a point where it just here the indicating noise (the tick) but its really fast and the lights dont come on. also sometimes when i go over a bump it ticks once.
what could this be? im thinking bad earth maybe??
help! its the most annoying thing in the world

Well I tinted my lights I had to disconnect them and one side didnt go back in properly and a light was dim so I taped it in place. Driving around yesterday it wasn't as bad and I think it stopped now. Properly because the connections moved again.

Feb 23 2012, 05:10 PM
Instead of taping it in place, i'd try to figure out why it isn't fitting back in properly.

getting this back box off a mate from college for £35 and then going to another guys house after college to get it fitted as he has a welder and some spare pipe to get it looking good.
note: it looks huge in the picture but its hardly big at all and should make a nice noise

pictures of it on will be here tomorrow... watch this space

Please make a cut-out for that, i'm not gonna lie, it looks awful just hanging off the bottom like that. A simple slice with a small hack saw, followed by some finishing at it'll look a million times better

id say its a 3.5 inch
but im jus guessin
fart can mutch
the stigster
Mar 9 2012, 07:23 AM
Yea its a 3.5 and its far from a fart can lol... I'm not to keen on cutting a slit in the bumper and this was a quick fix to the hole that was in my middle section, so this is on there til I can afford a middle section to replace it. Also the bumper goes up abit so im aiming to pull it to the left so it fits in there.
This is my first car and my first time putting an exhaust on so im open to suggestions that don't involve cutting the bumper

1) Go to a scrap yard
2) Find dead 106 (there's plenty)
3) Cut hole in that bumper
4) Keep original bumper in the garage
5) ????
6) Profit

I'm going to guess that the heat will melt those cable ties... unless non turbo cars don't get that hot... I know mine would melt anything you put on it.
Curtis
Mar 9 2012, 11:03 PM
yeah they do, around about 3-400 Celsius for a small engine like that. Dude, if you need any help regarding halfords, hit me up, i work for them ^_^

I though It was another Curtis's posts about another Arosa lol
This one looks pretty nice. Engine? Seems to be a 1.6
Change the rims. Add some 16" and low it. And dont forget some Peugeot
sport decals!

Mar 10 2012, 10:10 AM
Its a 1.1 with a leaky cam cover seal.
I wanna keep it pretty stock with some cool bits, I got a twin air horn on a separate switch. Id like to strip it out but I have to carry alot around to it would all be on show...
With the cable ties there not wrapped round the back box but on a mounting point that's quite badly welded on but I didnt do it. I did stop yesterday after driving for a while and the closest ones were still cold but the tip was really hot so should be fine.
i bought a long exhaust rubber mount for halfords but on mount was to far away and the other was to close so the cable ties are going to have to do for now
Which halfords do U work at curtis?

If you want to paint something, go to a proper auto paint shop. They'll match the colour perfectly.

I went to my local halfords before work yesterday and asked if they could mix paint to match my car, but they said they couldn't, which I don't believe them...
Got a 100 out of it yesterday first time in that car quite pleased
Curtis
Mar 11 2012, 10:33 AM
They're chatting s**t mate. Probably don't have anyone trained to do it, but they can.
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId=245215just print that page and be like, explain yourselves! Click on the link near the bottom of the page and it should take you to a store that has the capacity to do it. Just need to head over to the parts desk

Meh. I just would rather trust someone who's been in the paint business their whole lives than someone who's been trained for half a day to operate a machine..

Mar 11 2012, 01:00 PM
nahh, i mean the pre-made ones, they're bang on. I'd always be a bit wary of the custom made ones, but if you test it on a small area, and it is s**t, they'll either refund or remake it for you
