^Taken by yours truely. At the Michigan "Lake Superious Pro Rally" before they removed it from the Rally America Circuit. They ran the same track as Pastrana, Block, Cromarty, Foust, L'estage, Comrie-Pickard...

They all run together, but there are usually different classes. The Amateurs generally don't have big sponsors, they pay a lot out of their pocket and do a lot of the work themselves. So they basically use whatever car they can get ahold of for budget and make due with that.
