I finally got a God damn Supra!

It was listed for $4k on craigslist and I had my woman ask if he'd take $2500. So I get there, I take it for a spin and ask the guy if he'd take $2200 so I could use the extra to register the car and such and he was ok with it! So finally, I'm filling out the bill of sale and I give the guy the $2200 and he gives me $200 back, lmao.

It's a 5 speed turbo with 83k original miles, burgandy with the cloth red interior, TEMS, non targa and it's sicckkk, haha. I've been waiting for one of these bastards for 6 years now so I'm super f**king stoked.

keep it stock man. don't do some off the wall engine swap, simple is best.

just turn up the boost, new headgasket, better intercooler, and a straight pipe.

people get caught up in making power way too much these days. I've had more fun in my car than my friend has in his Holset HX35 turbo'd 260 lol

keep the 7m. They go hard as. Head gasket problems exist only because toyota did not torque the head down hard enough. Get that solved and boost it harder

Whats the deal with the paint? Is it salvageable or just completely rooted?

I also recommend the following: Low, Straight pipe, R33 GTR rims

The paint isn't bad on the body, it's just the front and rear bumpers that need work. There's really no body damage/rust/etc. so it would only need a couple hundred bucks to look shiny and nice again

R33 rims would be impossible to get over here, lol. I have plans for the look of things, and basically the engine, I just need a better job to pay for that stuff
