Actually, naturally aspirated engines produce about 3psi of "boost"

I don't consider that boost. It's scavenging. It's a natural effect, so it's not really "boosted" or added. To me, boost is forced induction.

engine looks in fairly good shape. what all are you doing with the head?

and mitch, you don't buy engine parts just because they "look epic"

Yeah hence the quotes, lol

I was doing the headgasket, but gave up due to some magical turbo bolts and the impossible for me timing belt. I did put new ARP bolts in though, with the proper amount of torque, as well as a cooler tstat and new valve cover gaskets. The car only has 87k miles on it so the engine is real clean

Still manages 13psi though.

Dat head, and dem cams

I got everything off this time, the old head gasket was super f**ked.. Turns out the miss I was having was from my timing belt slipping (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gasp.gif)

Luckily there was no damage from that, I couldn't believe the head was straight too. After getting the cams almost back in, Alex snapped one of my cam bolts off in the head, so I had to get it machined. Should have the s**t back and the car together tonight

Oh and a couple weeks back someone rammed me in traffic, I have some fender dent going on. It's not too bad though, I'll be able to pull the fender and get the dent out easy

Stop wasting your money on silly things like the "Engine" and do something more important and worthwhile, like this
