A bunch of people trying to petition it isn't going to do anything. The cars don't pass safety regulations that all cars sold in the united states are required to meet.

Well, SEMA did get collector car regulations lifted in all 49(err) states (except CA)....

that doesn't have to do with importing cars that cannot meet federal safety requirements. this is like trying to petitionphysics to let yourself jump off of a 30 story building without dying

No, many people drive rhd civics and other cars in the US. It's because they don't pass crash test standards in the US.
