well seems like the other one really dies so i figure we start a-new and pin this up

lets keep this real, DONT post about your bike, or stupid crap like that...
  • Please no discussions about 'How do I get my HKS intercooler to work with my GReddy turbo' etc.
  • Please only post your car, discuss with other people if you wish, but don't go off topic 'My mates dads cousins wife has a TRD Supra blahblah'
  • If you want to post pictures, please keep them 56k friendly. If they aren't, please link to them.
  • Off topic banter will be deleted.
i'll start off expect this to be big

this is my 1995 300ZX Twin Turbo pushing 666.46rwhp

Added some rules so this doesn't get out of hand and hard to moderate like the other ones do. Delete this when you're ready, Mike.

Well, since this is GOING to be the car I'm getting (I've already decided 100%, and I'm in the process of looking for one in good condition thats fairly cheap), a 240SX hatchback. If everything goes as planned, I'll have it by the end of the year. I'm getting a job over the summer, and possibly running odd jobs and errands as well, until the next school year, which I'll just keep my regular job. I figure that'll get me about $2000 or so (maybe a bit less, I haven't done the math 100% yet) which I can drop on a cheap one.

Again, this is pretty much what I drive, because I know for a fact I'm getting one, unless something happens and they all disappear of the face of the earth. So don't be flaming me just because I don't have it yet. CAUSE I WILL *dun dun dun!*

Might as well, After I find a job and raked in some good (HAH!) money, I will be buying a Fox Body Coupe, probaly NOT a 5.0, just a V6 for good gas milage and it will be cheaper to buy. Then I will start tearing out the interiour, add a roll cage and stiffen the chassis, then suspension and brakes. then the drivetrain. Then some SmallBlack V8...

thats like my 10year project hahaha, I want to road race it though...

My dad had a fox body that we got rid of two years ago, he said that if he wasn't able to sell it, we were gonna strip it, put in a cage and whatnot, and race it on the weekends up at Mid Ohio. That car was great... and loud.

I don't have any pictures right now, because my dad decided to return my camera due to the fact that he did not like it. I can show you pictures of the same thing, though.

I've got a 93 Nissan 240SX. Completely stock except the air freshener. If you're dumb and need pictures, this is what a 240 looks like.
(IMG:http://www.hostdub.com/albums/MYK/240drop.sized.jpg)

And I also often drive my dad's Diamante, and again I do not have pictures of it, so I'll just show you this neat one with a nice front lip. VR4!

Yeah, the car is real fun to drive. Quick and sort of luxurious, which is how I really like it. They are FF, unfortunately. The VR-4 Galants are pretty damn sick. They are AWD, which is pretty damn sick, too. I've heard about Galant GSXs out there, too. Though I've honestly never seen one.

i'm guessing both the gsx and vr-4 versions are strictly over-seas... and taking a guess based on the eclipse i'd say the gsx might be a single turbo awd version

i'm honestly loving the vr-4 galant more and more, i've been looking into it, it's be a great car to have, it's a sedan, so you got a good deal of room, which is the only problem with my car... it's not the 2+2 version so i can only hold me and one person... and the vr-4 is pretty fast stock, it's no M5 off the line, but with some mods i'm betting it could be pretty damn fast, not to mention it weighs less than the 3000gt vr-4... which is so heavy it nearly ruined the cars performance

Okay, this is the "Is this really your car" test.

Now, draw a picture or a note of somesort of something PCA related with it and take a picture of your car with the note on it.

easiest way to prove the car is yours, post a custom picture. put the car manual on the hood and take a picture. ppl do this on a different forum ( a very big forum) and it's a proven way to prove you own the car.

rofl, jason has the same magnaflow can on his lancer as ive got on my altima! luckily i have an injen cold air intake, so the exhaust doesnt sound like a pissed off bumble bee going down the road, just sounds like a v6 instead of a 4 banger.

my car: 2000 Nissan Altima GXE
mods (that work):
injen CAI
magnaflow can
eagle 16" forged rims w/michelin rubber
infinity 10" sub
silvania silver star headlight bulbs

mods (that DONT work):
stupid kenwood in-dash cd player that quit last week (IMG:http://www.pixelcarart.com/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

dont have any pics with me, but ill put them on my thumb drive and post them up later.

I love my muffler, it sounds great, especially when the car warms up.

OH NOES

Yesterday while washing my Ralliart i discovered a scratch that is around 8 inches long right above the wheel well on the drivers side fender that goes down to the primer... the scratch is longer, but around 8 inches has actually went through the paint... I will have to take her to a body shop in the spring to have the scratch rapaired because it looks horrible. It looks as if something or someone rubbed against the fender, or even maybe took a key to her... I also have some scratches under the passangers side front bumper lip, where i scraped turning around in our driveway before it was paved that i want repaired.

Yes, everytime i see the scratch i get very upset because i know it is going to cost some $$$ to repair and the worst part is that it is just this little thing, but it takes a lot more effort to repair it then it would actual body damage... because paiting such little spots requires everything to be perfect...

if you want a quick cheap fix that works, go get some finger nail polish that matches the paint. itll protect the metal til you can get it repainted and wont look as bad either. and i was wrong, my can dont look like yours, mine is silver and way huger than that, lol. matter of fact, i think when i get some money, that's the can im gonna get. i have almost no torque cuz mine is so huge.

that would just ruin compression. although there are similar types of exhaust that are bozo style.

Yeah go with stock headlights and amber corners. I hate aftermarket headlights.

As you all know I have a 95 Civic EX sedan.

I don't have new pics, it's dirty because of winter. The foglights are yellow now and the pinstripe is gone.

Exciting JDM mods!:

92-95 Si wheelcovers
Dispatch bumper sticker
yellow Foglights
Kenwood front speakers
polished "VTEC" and other lettering on valve cover
repainted windshield wipers satin black (they were all worn, they're not supposed to be silver)
Penn State rear windshield sticker

I know, it's sad, I've had it for almost a year now and that's all I've done. Next I want Vision amber corners and a JDM SiR front lip. I don't know if I want a JDM Sir rear wing yet.

1989 Pontiac Bonneville with a little over 120,000miles on the clock. Pretty damn good for how old it is. Runs DAMN STRONG. My dad's getting his new company car (2006 Chevrolet Impala LS) and we're considering buying his old one to keep (2003 Ford Taurus) which would make it something I'd be allowed to drive. I'm in the market for a 1st gen Miata so the Bonneville probaly won't be here come next summer, and a little roadster would be in it's place in the driveway. We're working up a nice collection of automobiles.

2006 Chevy Imapala (on it's way)
2003 Ford Taurus
1999 Ford Windstar
1999 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6E
1989 Pontiac Bonneville

19-- Mazda MX-5 Miata (on it's way I hope)
Bolded are the cars/bikes we already have

I know. I really don't feel like spending all that money right now. The fact that I would have to take it to a shop for an install and then alignment really puts me off.

I like my wheelcovers. They look way better than the fugly ones that came with the car. Plus I'd rather have an engine swap than new rims/tires.

well uhm er... i dunno if my car is welcome.. since its nothing special but i have a 1992 Cavalier RS coupe that is becoming an autocross beast soon.. also in about maybe 3-4 weeks i will hae in my drive way a 1968 camaro SS in canary yellow again the cavalier has the 2.2L non ecotec 4 popper and is sadly a 3 speed auto, but soon it will have a few mods like NGK iridium plugs, 10MM wires, grounding kit, hks can, swaybars, GM lowering kit, all for autocross. the camaro is gonna mostly stay all stock for now.

I'm planning on a 1.6L Miata for sake of lower price, and 1994 was when the 1.8L was replaced the 1.6. I'll probably aim for a something younger than a '91 because everything before that except the 2nd half '91s had a shortnose crank problem, but I could solve that with a few options...
-A later model crank
-A lower mileage 1.6 or
-A bigger, better 1.8!

Main plans for modifications to it would be hardtop, front lip, basic motor work, KYB AGX adjustable suspension w/ some sportier springs, M-Edition BBS wheels, strut tower bar, sway bars, simple roll bars (probably the over the seat hoops) maybe just style bars since I don't plan on competing in Spec Miata right away, Moss lowpro headlamps are a possibility, and corner light intakes. I want it to look a little more aggressive while driving a little more aggressive at the same time. Just want a sporty daily driver, not a track car.

BTW, sexiest Miata EVER- http://www.revlimiter.net

yep its a micra - its owned by the same girl that has the other celica (the silver one not sure if you can see it in those pics) her mate brought it along as a bit of a piss take - had airbrushed flames and some dodgy aero mods

and nizzy we do, the club is run by a guy that runs an import business so alot of the cars are top notch, he has a Doluck kitted BCNR33 (in the ics but only in the background) the company also has a BNR32 drag car www.d-c-y.com (pics on the site) and they are building a HCR32 drift car (that ive had the job of designing the graphics for (IMG:http://www.pixelcarart.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) which should be ready soon (as far as i know its in the paint shop right now)

I seen the feature in Banzai for that drag car, one sweet car! Cool that you are designing the graphics for the drift car they are making.
