It's there as a warning to everyone - if you go flaming there will be consequences.

And it serves as a warning to new members - ask stupid questions here and not get flamed. Post that same question elsewhere and expect to be knocked down a peg if it's because of your own "lack of reading abilities"

And perhaps using Carefree was the best expression to use. I mean, after all, if something keeps leaking enough (ie, the dribble of a new member) it's safer to clog it's opening with something before it causes a real mess...

And Agreed with Addict, it would be nice to have some more, expectant shall we say, members joining. instead of jumping in at the deep end.
