What's up guys.
I've decided to make one of those car threads, too, so here it is, my very first ride.
Photos from when I've brought it home...
It's 2000 Škoda Felicia LXi. Engine is 1.3 MPi, it has 50 kW (about 68 HP) and 105 Nm, wich isn't that much but it weights only 935 kg, so it still runs pretty good.
Its equipment is central door locker, power steering (or how to call it), CD player, roof window, mirrors and door handles in the same color as the rest of the car, third brake light at the top of the car, lights that turn on automatically when I turn engine on and front fog lights.
My plans are do some major checking of the car and see what needs to be changed, then maybe some light tuning like new rims and suspension, maybe some new color (after I take care of the rust) and also new speakers and maybe new brakes and engine upgrade, we'll see...
thats cool as hell man
is it diesel or petrol?
Petrol, diesel they put in this car was the s**ttest engine you could have, it has nopower, is heavy and brakes down a lot
God Damn!
We also have Felicia but 1.9 lx, silver color, black interior, runs good.Bad thing is it have rusty back door but its better car than yours Anyway dear man have a nice time with her btw I think mine are diesel not sure 100 %
for this car i would buy new suspension and 16'' rims would fit nicely
16" are too big, I am planning 14", maybe 15" but only if I find some super awesome 15" rims
so far I would to have like these, from Felicia Sport
so, at friday me and my friend changed bottom pins and all cuffs on my car. I must tell you, I was really lucky that nothing serious happened with the old ones. It is hard to take care of a car when previous owner didn't give a f**k about it.
I think you can guess which pin is the new one
next goal: chaning steering pins and also oil and filter changing
nice ride man, I never saw one but are you sure 16s are too big? I mean, unless you want to roll REALLY low, 16s sounds like a good deal to me... those wheels on it are 12 or 13?
well all basic Felicias had 13" rims and extra series had 14" rims. I think more than 15" rims are too big. They would be uncomfortable to ride, because tires would be too thin and also it wouldn't look good with such a big wheels
13x10 -15 go
Madset go jerk on rotiform you can't choose right rim size you are not that good.
ats classics, 13x8
might look good
or some nice 14 inch wheels
Ryo, U have better roads in spain. So thats why '18s are comfortable for you
well most probably I will buy 14" rims, those I've posted but so far I don't really care, because there are much more important things to do on the car and I don't have infinite money
Lol it's eastern europe, we have no roads too, that's why my Passat is still OEM. Drive a car with rims which size is over 16" is a big problem.
Remove that erect hook at rear of car. Would look better.
ew rotiforms
wtf
and you say i went full retard
Who said Rotiforms anyway? again, you're going full retard
guys...
That guy said I should go jerk over some rotiforms at wheel whores or some s**t
Who the f**k does that over rotiforms
Luxury abstract doe Damn bitch I'd fap over dat s**t anyday
LuxAbs do make some bomb ass rims though
Post up your car on pca and everyone thinks this is stance works/nation/fat laces or whatever you guys call it these days.
Cool car kuba
haha, thanks for the offer but I am not buying rims right now and I am about 85% decided to have ones I posted on the first page, gotta find some cheap
what's up my fellow people?
after a longer time I've got some update
I've finally had a time to get rid of the rust. with huge help of my friends.
rear bumper was put off and then paint was grinded off the fender and all the rusty parts
kit was put on
and then sandpapered (or how to call it)
next steps: add another layer of kit on nescesarry places, sandpaper the kit under water (I don't really know how to say it in english), and paint it.
Then I need to take care of the undercarriage
I think you mean "wet sanding".
yeah, that may be the right phrase
Nice work man. Which self-etching primer you use? Heard positive feedback about Body 960 primer. I need to do the same work.
well at final I didn't use primer for this one, since I'm going to weld on new rear fender in a year or two. But if you need the parts you are going to repair last longer, grind off the paint and the rust, then degrease it (or how to say it ), spray it with acrylate anti corrosive gray primer (2 layers), put on kit (if it has some bigger holes, use green kit and then the basic yellow one), then spray it again with primer and then you can apply the color itself
is the car in your sig yours? O_O
I'm asking the same question as he is aha
I'm sorry to dissapoint you guys but no, it isn't... i don't have a job now, so no money to spend on my car :C
but it is basically how I would my car to look like, except I would like to have black roof, smoked blinkers and a lip under the front bumper
shame lol
