I want to get "xenon" lights for our Paseo. Not the disguisting blue stuff, but ideally I'd like to get a 4300K kit. What brands should I look at? How hard would it be to install them myself? I guess the hardest part would be to align them properly.. pls help |

Just go on ebay, and pick up a kit for ~E45.00c. I have 8000k in my Ibiza, they're a little blue, 6000k's would be better as they're much whiter. 4300k is the same as the yellow/white of Halogen, and you would notice no difference save for the s**tty beam pattern. I would recommend getting projectors retrofitted as they are much better at guiding the light from HID's than traditional reflectors are, which tend to spread the light f**king everywhere.

I dont know about rules in holland, but in dk they are not allowed unless factory fitted. Or the car can be bought with them as an option.

Well if you dont have the tool to do it, it can be tricky to know if you adjusted them correctly.

hahha well basicly the headlights have to drop 1% from the origin of the light from 10 meters. By EU standards, might be different from country to country.
and i swear to god 7 out of 10 cars cant have their headlights adjusted because the plastic assemblys of gears that moves them crack and s**t. Such a bitch to get it right if you have to adjust them by squezing paper under the headlights. This post has been edited by Thor: Jun 21 2014, 09:34 PM |
