Yea and licensing and insurance is a substantial chunk of change at first
We can piggy back insurance here if the person who does the piggy back has a clean record. Also we can get away with high emissions and ridiculous modifications Cali has weird standards. Not the whole country. The dirty south is known for having plenty of skylines way before the actual 25 year exemption. I know plenty of shop owners who've had them. Also not all cars are marketed here. Like the FTO and Starlets. They were just never made for the US |

how much do they cost?
here they are aound 7000 nzd depending on what model/if its a gtr etc if its a gtr its an easy 20000nzd |

even the importer's quote that much. The GT-Rs however can range from 15-35K usd depending on chassis and modifications. Though there aren't many you can still find them at car shows |
