I'd like to do the fenders because mine are f**ked

Also, the front lip, if it's compatible with the kouki bumper is a yes, and the intercooler ducts would fall into that also...

I'm focusing more on suspension and drivetrain than the aesthetic... I'm going for 450hp also before I'll do anything cosmetic...

Booo JZ

For really real though, a JZ swap for a stock VVTI JZ either 1 or 2 will cost as much as 450whp for the 7m. Plus the 7m makes buttloads more torque...

I'm only a couple grand away from my power goal, with a full tune... Just about $1500 without a full tune

Just wait, lol. There's likely to be a new BMW in the nearer future! If not that, than an Evo, so we'll see

and thanks! it's a huge pain doing all your work in the parking lot, lol

Oh man, the area under the passenger door is all messed up. Can that be fixed or does it need a new shell? The car seems to have some quality parts, too bad the bodywork is all damaged and dented.
Working on the car in a parking lot? Wouldn't it be more practical to rent a garage or at a mechanic's?

Fenders I could get a junkyard for pretty cheap. The skirt under the door tough will be tricky

The spot underneath the door could be fixed probably. I was going to try to pull it out, like you would with a crossmember after hitting a deer or something... Frankly the best option would be to cut that stuff out and patch some new metal in there. This car is going to be my track car though, so I don't really care about the body as long as the frame is straight

As for working on the car, it's not that easy to rent space to do work, haha. Not by me anyways, and I wouldn't trust shops out here to change my oil! I took the car in to get an alignment once and had to drive it onto the rack because not a single person there could drive a manual. Then they quoted me almost $1k to do some brake work that took me an hour and $80 in the parking lot.

Also... Have you tried buying a MK3 from a junkyward or something only for spares? Would be pretty cheap imo

Yaeh, take parts you need and send me the rest of car lmao

Pretty nice work you did. I noticed that all you need to repair is time and free space.

I guess the most expensive part of it all is the replacement itself, isn't it?
