Hi ive got a Macbook and was wondering what software you guys use for doing this. im very new to it but would like to get more involved.... I have used photoshop and paint and all on windows... but cant afford it for my mac...

Any options?

They have Gimp for mac. I think thats what most people use.

i use Linux so i use Gimp as my main editor just make sure to turn of AA when using the Circle tool or any other tool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

gimp is hard as hell. i got soo pissed off just trying to move a picture round the screen. gave up and reinstalled windows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/xd.gif) .

You just need to practice more and play around with it a bit, Thats what i did and now I've gotten Pro with it its not vary hard (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

nope, im a first impressions dude. was do not want. hell i did play around with it for like 3hrs and i got so furious (IMG:style_emoticons/default/xd.gif) . paint.net + MS paint = anyday. ill learn how to Ps one day.

ok im figuring it out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif) got my car looking pretty good....

but i saw "turn off aa" where do i do that at?? (on gimp)

Very cool, dual boot xubuntu and get kolourpaint

seashore and pixen are pretty cool, though, try them out if you don't like GIMP

paint.net could work. and of course GIMP don't macs have an MSpaint like program?

no they dont because macintosh is the best operating system ever and has no problems with it

there is paint brush , but it doesnt COME WITH IT , like how gimp at LEAST comes with linux eh eh e beast mode euh
