I don't think this is an issue about the word. Why does it need to come up in the first place? Come on people. If you went to serious art forums, you'd never see people bashing each others work.
What worries me the most is that this forum seems to be turning into an entirely off-topic centered forum. There are even some people here (you know who you are) who don't even tune anymore and just stay here and E-thug. Do I really need to repeat some of the first things you learn in school? If you don't have something nice (helpful) to say, then don't say it (gtfo) If you say things just to put someone down, you are an asshole; It doesn't matter what the situation is. |

I saw the topic and felt all warm and fuzzy.
Then I read the substance of the thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I've reduced the word filters a fair bit. I gave benefit of the doubt that people would actually grow up a bit with less controls put on them. For everyone who's gone to a dictionary to lookup what some words mean, you KNOW that's not the context in which the words are being used on this forum. Any time I call my sisters dog a little b***h I still get my mum trying to slap me, even though she is a small female dog. I called her that because she stole my sock (IMG:style_emoticons/default/xd.png) All I can say is - keep it nice, or I'll ask staff to just start handing warnings and suspensions until you get yourself banned. Just look at the complaints about suspensions in the past week (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

some of the words have double meanings. if we filter every word with a double meaning then this place will suck. we wouldnt be able to post anything. what if someone uses the word gay as happy? or fag as cigarette? should we filter the word "it" because 7 year olds use it meaning sex?
