possible exhaust option for the swap.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOqi0jLHwJY...nel_video_title still totally undecided about exhaust though. Plus the price is on the extremely high side for that one. |

the exhaust is pretty universal.
that's a b18c. i am building a b18b. the difference is mostly in the head. he has vtec, i don't. but still, they actually would bolt the same headers up. But that's just the exhaust from the header back i believe. the header i choose as well as the cams i have will make a difference in how it sounds too. My cam is more aggressive than that, so i should actually have a more...burly idle. He also has a straight pipe (no catalytic converter). and MT, have you ever actually been to a pro rally. I have. The cars don't sound like that. A car's sound depends entirely on the build. My car will sound like it's a built N/A I4. And that's what it will be. |

I can see where MT is coming from to be fair, it has a similar raspy note to a rally car. Just without the pops aand bangs and illegal stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/xd.gif)

in essence, rally cars are just highly tuned street cars. And a good number of them are four cylinders. So it does make a little sense that the sound should be a little similar. but why would that be a bad thing?
