Couldn't you technically sue for that? And if you did, it's not asking for much, and since you'll have proof (The stud is still there I assume), the company will probably just give in and avoid the hassle of court. No joke. Maybe you could even get an extra couple thousand if you milk them hard enough. Get the wheels fixed and more.

And you can make a living off of anything if you try hard enough. Hell, I make all my money from buying and selling at garage sales and thrift stores. Completely different from what you're asking, but you'd be surprised how much you can profit from literally anything.

lol pretty much, actually. but mine will have larger lips.

just found out last night that no one makes reverse lips in 16" so I'm f**ked for getting new ones.

only options are:

mill face down, weld into 16" barrel= 2pc welded

widen current lips (hoping for this one, haven't checked to see if anyone can/will do it)

or 18" 3pc (LOL.)

(although, my car doesn't look terrible on 18s)

they're terrible sizing/offsets. just gonna refinish and flip these.

they're 16x7 +32, 16x8 +38. but overall the wheels are in extremely good condition and should restore nicely and easily.

My weds are already getting all chipped up just from daily driving. They may be relatively light and strong, but whatever finish they use on them sucks ass. Any tips?

and that's just a rumor, the highest temp I've ever powder coated something at was 450*F, not even close to f**k anything up. and that was just to melt the powder, once it "flowed out" I set the temp back down to 400*F.

If you don't heat the wheels past the 'critical temperature' for whatever the metal may be, then it won't weaken them. Once you pass the critical temperature, you're starting to heat treat the metal, which lowers the strength of the metal.

Most good professional powdercoaters should know this, but it's still a good idea to talk about it with them before having a job done. There are some lower temp powders that can be used if needed.

In other words, if the right precautions aren't taken for cast aluminum wheels, yes it could weaken the wheels.

HKS have springs with built-in helper springs (kinda sucks but whatevs lol)
HKS are only spring height adjustable, not body adjustable
