Gearheads and anime otakus, prepare to smile. Or cry.

i saw this on speedhunters 12 hours ago
I wanna own that sooooo bad. But then again its awsome to see someone preserve one. This is very cool. Damn! That 86 looks good.
and no-ones know where exactly? caus i'm stealing that badboy....
but DAMN, that is a mint AE86.
LSD yo! how much that would cost...? about 30K?
pinkie = win
dat car looks awful stock in my option.
that's kinda gay that jalopnic yanked the story from speedhunters, they speedhunted it,lol. Should do their own reporting.
tbh , who gives a s**t if they found a ae86, i see one everyday.
just to do it up lol
lol. no. the people that would be interested in buying this would preserve it just the way it is. The owner wouldn't let someone buy it if their intentions are to make it another ae86 drifter. Besides, most of them couldn't afford to buy it. When it does get sold, it will probably go to a big time car collector, not a racer.
lol i was jk
Anyone have an estimate on how much it could be worth?
I'm curious lol.
but that's a coupe? with fixed headlights. not the famous for the anime popup headlight hatchback model.
Ive always liked the coupe. I cant stop thinking about it. Its so beautiful.
Its like a time capsule of what the 80's was and wow that to crazy to see one brand new never been raped lol
That, worth 30-100k? What the f**k currency do you use? Yen?
You'd be looking $20k absolute end-of-argument tops, it's not a rare car by any means, just because it's clean and (very) low mileage, means f**k all, it's not a landmark car, it's cheaply built in a time where it was meant to look nice and "futuristic" but get you from A to B without being labour intensive at all. As much as I like the car, they're pieces of s**t and if it went for anything about $20,000 the buyer needs his face blowing off with a pump action.
there should be a "brand new" crx in a basement of a honda garage to somewhere in Diest, Belgium

handels well, powerfull, iconic australian muscle car, the same model was used in racing for years. rare these days in good nick
what makes it so special? nothing really lol apart from the fact that its rare theres nothing that really makes it with 750k. cars at the end of the day are worth what someone will pay for them. 10 years ago that car wouldhave bin bought for under 20k in the same condition. these days 250+ will get you into one depending on extras and condition etc etc. just cos one person thought ill buy that for x amount. and now there worth as much as a house.
if a rich asian bloke wants to buy that car for a million dollars cos he had one as a 1st car then boom all of a sudden the prices for them will rise. what its worth and what someone will pay are 2 different things. in scrap metal its prolly with a few hundred bucks lol. to someone it may be worth a million who knows.

This guy is selling some AE86 hatch for 30k... Maybe it will have to go down a lot before it gets bought. Though it is one of 400 made of that edition and the plates are supposedly worth 5k o_O
Pinkie is right, about the willing to pay... Not many people will be willing to pay 30k for that car, some person might.
