So my dad's Alfa was knackered, as Alfas usually are. So he swapped it for a car he's wanted for nigh on 20 years. The almighty Lexus LS400, with added 1UZ-FE
It's a 1996 in the weirdest colour ever, it looks navy from a distance but it looks like a dark green from up close. It's madness, I can't believe my dad's managed to bag something which was £45k or something like that brand new for just over £1,000, would also say it's the comfiest car I've ever been in. Plans are some lowering, wheels and removing all that orange.
Sex. sex. sex.

Added 1uz?
Is that like adding a 2j to an SC300?
As a car enthusiast, you'll learn to love depreciation

get massive deepdish chromes and mass amounst of camber and mass amounts of low.
Oh! I nearly forgot to mention this car's best feature, it has a 90s-tastic green interior. Sounds naff but I must admit it does look quite good, it's a subtle shade, I'll get some photos whenever my dad's back.
At least you can get some models of this one ;D

just keep all the orange, it looks so cool!
What he said ^
The engine in this car is phenomenal. My dad just took me out for a cruise while the roads were empty. Popped the gearbox in "Sport mode" (Faster kick down, sharper throttle response and revs all the way to the redline before changing), and booted it from a 50mph roll, within seconds we were going well over 100 with no effort whatsoever.
I love this thing, 179,000 miles and goes like new
ben you make me covet
1uz v8 up in dis playse
does it sound grunty?
It sounds grunty, very muffled though. Sitting in this car is weird, it's ridiculously quiet, normal driving you can't hear the engine at all, but under hard accelerating you can definitely hear some V8-ness
could use a set of VIP modulars and camber!

Hey look at this bad-ass Alfa
England is cheap, I wanna live thar
no. no it isn't.
Cars are cheap to buy, it's insuring them, and putting petrol in them, and taxing them, and servicing them...
Besides I know for a fact that Alfa needs at least £200's worth of work to the suspension
i found expensive buying a car, if what ben says is correct, paying for it will be virtually impossible
Ordered some new bits yesterday, clear front indicators
Smoked side repeaters
And some red light tint. They should all arrive soon enough
cool, needs some snazzy rims
