dang, you guys have been busy with the cars..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif)

me too, me too....

Astra and Corsa are still (or Corsa is AGAIN) standing still.

had a Citroen Saxo for daily, when the corsa was broken down.
had fun in it for 2 years, was a funny thing (stickered up by friends.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) ).
sold it when the M.O.T was coming up, and it was getting bad, as i wasn't treating it nice (sh*tbox for life).
finished the Corsa, drove for 3 months, then the engine decided to quit.
the Distributionbelt was loose, jumped a few teeths, and so it lost compression.
also the belt was damaged. if i recall, they told me there was a loose bolt in the casing, so that damaged it, i think.
and the garage that made sure it ran, probably used the belt, i fiddled with like 6 times.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

so now i bought a new engine, and a mate of mine will be putting it in (has done it a few times for me, and has more experience then me.)

in the mean time, bought a Ford Ka, just to be a daily.

and for the Astra, i bought my dream engine.
a 2.0 Turbo. will be looked at, to make sure it is 100%

i already know that i will need a new turbo, as there is a crack in it, and some movement in the lengtht of the axle.
but i need to figure out, if i want a replacement turbo in the same type, or a bigger one. (maybe a Garreth?)
but if i go for a bigger one, i also need another intercooler.... money challenges. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blinking2.gif)

yeah, can't help to trow money into the cars.... now i need to finish them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shifty.gif)

I still don't own my own car, but after driving my company Toyota GT86, I am planning on picking one up soon - some time next year. Plan on putting a 1JZ-GTE in and drifting it until it rusts away.

Currently I get to drive my company cars as if they are my own - Ferrari Challenge Stradale and Audi R8 LMX pretty much every day. Others include McLaren 720S, Ferrari 458 Spider and Aston Martin V12 Vantage S.

I'm replying almost a year late but I remember this coming up in conversation at one point (maybe with Faran?) regarding your IG / work / etc. That's so awesome... have you swooped the personal GT86?

I find it incredible how I decided to open PCA so soon after you replied here!

Thanks for the kind words, I've been working hard on the Auto Culture media brand.

I have bought a GT86, and I actually bought the one from my company lol. Here she is:

I post about three times a year so it is quite the coincidence lol. That's amazing man, super happy for you. The car is beautiful! Great shot... you're really out here living the dream!

Have you started drifting it until it rusts away, or are you being gentle for the time being? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toothygrin.gif)

Love the 86 ^

I made some weird choices again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif)

Golf ended up looking like this, fixed it up and sold it in December:

(IMG:https://i.imgur.com/nNrlalk.jpg)

I didn't have a vehicle (besides a cheap moped) till summer, when I bought this for a roadtrip:

(IMG:https://i.imgur.com/40DoqHf.jpg)

Then I sold that for a slight profit 10k km later, and bought my dream bike:

(IMG:https://i.imgur.com/U5nkLY8.jpg)

Was fun till typical Dutch weather hit again, so as of this weekend I own this lil rocket for the winters, while my Aprilia sleeps in the garage:

(IMG:https://i.imgur.com/DV3rjaM.jpg)

Ok see you next year when I inevitably make a bunch of weird decisions again!

Apparently, when I last posted on this thread in 2006 I still had my 1992 Vauxhall Nova (hence the username):

(IMG:https://i.ibb.co/VTNHWh4/420577-10150721471807802-1756764280-n.jpg)

Since then, I've had a 1989 Golf GTi

(IMG:https://i.ibb.co/zZ87x1n/426616-10150721504642802-137922150-n.jpg)

(IMG:https://i.ibb.co/xS9PY0b/407836-10150721565577802-1477242565-n.jpg)

And now I'm driving a 2006 Audi RS4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toothygrin.gif)
