Realized I can't afford a car with the UK's s**tty insurance prices, at least for now, but I still need transport and something I can modify on a budget so I got a scooter, because I can. It's a 2008 Aprilia SR50 and I have some cool plans for it. Photos first
(IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/256zccm.jpg) (IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/vcz0oh.jpg) (IMG:http://i45.tinypic.com/dzdxu0.jpg) (IMG:http://i50.tinypic.com/m839f6.jpg) (IMG:http://i47.tinypic.com/2vtw3td.jpg) (IMG:http://i46.tinypic.com/kd7cqd.jpg) My plans are, aesthetically - Second set of panels, paint them black with dark metallic purple parts - Purple wheels - Yasuni Carbon Exhaust - Handlebar conversion - Tail tidy - Small numberplate - Smoked lights - Better headlight bulbs - All black seat - And then some other details like nicer brake levels, a nicer stand etc. Engine wise I'm still undecided. I'd love a Yasuni Carbon exhaust like I said just but I'll see about money first, won't be for a couple of months anyway. I'd like a 70cc kit at some point but I want to keep it reliable, depends what company I choose. But if I can get 65-70mph out of this when I'm done I'll be happy. I started the tail tidy tonight, here's the before picture (IMG:http://i48.tinypic.com/2h2qepz.jpg) I've removed the grab handles and also the numberplate bracket. So here's how it is right now (IMG:http://i48.tinypic.com/v651j9.jpg) (IMG:http://i45.tinypic.com/6jd2mo.jpg) I'm going to try and find a transmission casing mounted numberplate bracket, this is how I want the numberplate to sit (IMG:http://i45.tinypic.com/nv4cr7.jpg) So there we go In before 'lower it' fags who think they're funny and also in before the 'lower it' fags who think they're funny because I said it's not funny to say it in the first place and they're doing it to be a trollololollooolol This post has been edited by Ben.H: Sep 4 2012, 03:44 AM |
