Hey all happy PCA people!

I bought this 320i last Thursday (19th Dec). Checked it out, went down in price and drove it home after about one hour.
The car has a very good interior but I don't like the super old Pioneer stereo, maybe gonna change if I find a cheap one.
On the exterior there quite a lot surface rust, also on some strange spots like on the middle of the trunk. Otherwise it's quite nice in the paint (Montrealblau), just needs a bit of polish (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)

Plans at the moment:
Rims - Check
Cheap Coils -
Stereo -
Rust fixing -
Polish -
Front indicators, side indicators and taillights -
Leather seats if there's some cheap ones -
Muffler with two endings -

19th Dec - Some crappy photos just after we got home.

24th Dec - Bought some nice Alpina wheels as a Christmas gift for myself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)
(IMG:http://i.imgur.com/HZ3xOvZ.jpg)
(IMG:http://i.imgur.com/0WOgvVr.jpg)
(IMG:http://i.imgur.com/rt0V1Xr.png)

Need proper lowering so he look good! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)

I'm not going to update that often unfortunately because I'm only a student (poor) and I'm out of the country 27th Dec to 5th Jan.

if you want to go lower for little to no cost I would cut a coil out of the springs. Wouldnt go any more than that though. It should drop you about an inch. Did this to my cobalt until I get coilovers. Granted I cut 3 out haha

It depends on if it was taken care of I guess. My friend's has random weird little issues a lot usually with oil, electrical, and lots of suspension problems. Replace all the bushings in the suspension if you ever have the chance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Only use OEM or OEM replicas though unless you're planning on upgrading.

Nice car, pretty good condition. Alpina front lip would look good on it. Dunno, does it fit or not. Rust fixing must be first at to-do list.

About coilovers. Cheapest i've seen is TA-Technik. Box says "Made in Germany" but it's really made in China, so i read few bad reviews and few positive feedbacks. Look for XYZ, it's made in Taiwan, imo it's best money/quality offer. Or made coilevers youself, its not difficult.

Problem is that I want the real s**t and not fake, so about the Alpina lip... Naah (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toothygrin.gif) Too expensive and I'm probably going to snowdrift etc. But yeah it would look good (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I found some very cheap coilovers which should be better quality than TA etc. for £185 / $303 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I just sprayed the hell on it with Turtle Wax engine bay cleaning, waited 2 minutes and then washed everything off with water (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Worked really good (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)
