As some of you may noticed, SFC (a new team) has been created. After some testing an troubleshooting, it seems that I have the team system all figured out. An issue that has plagued the site since Zany left was how heavily customized the member teams modification had been. The button to add a team was entirely removed. After browsing through some of the site code recently, I found a reference to the link that the button used to point to and thus was able to create SFC after figuring out some of the systems nuances. I feel comfortable enough with it to announce that the team system is back in action and ready to create new teams!
TL;DR: Shit was broke. I figured it out. We can make new teams again.

Once the team has been created:
In the event that
The total members drop below 5
or
There has been no activity in the team forum for a month.
the team may be flagged for removal. Team leaders will be notified and given some time to correct the issue. If it is not corrected or happens again, the team will be removed to make room for new teams
