Right.

In countries where the car comes with the Sr20 there are different transmission options

Anyone with that in the states is a mega noob, lol

why bash the Auto? i think an automatic is just as fine as a manual.....

for sporting i agree on you guys, but daily, an auto is even finer then an manual.

relaxing cruising, better feul-effenciency, not temting for high speed...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

and no, i don't drive Auto regular. my parents do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Cruising on the highway and stuff you're not shifting much anyways. I can get better fuel economy in something with a 5speed than something with a 4 speed auto that doesn't know what the hell it's doing, and tons of people try to drive their automatics fast, and are retarded, lol

number of gears don't matter, it's the drivetrain loss from the power it takes to work the auto.

well, the retarded people who like to drive fast in an auto, should get a manual.
and auto's that don't know what the hell they doing? explanation please.
i know i'm no expert, but from the auto we have, they are working fine, go in higher gear when needed, and go in a lower gear when needed.
when you put the pedall to the metal, they tend to go to high in the revs, but not that much when you go in a manual.

i like my manual, but i sometimes just hit the revlimiter too much. in my parents car i don't. also could save the engine abit more.

but i now will get bashed for not knowing it, so let this rest, and all bash on automatic gears, and pray the lord for the manual, and donate tim, so that he can switch sooner too a manual gearing..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

The auto that doesn't know what it's doing refers to the s**tty GM transmissions I have in everything that have terrible gearing and the PCM doesn't know when the f**k to shift it

+1 for fords, the ones I've driven seem to want to downshift so far out of the engine's powerband that all it ends up doing is making a bunch of noise rather than going anywhere.
