I finally purchased a CRX HF this past Thursday(May 17)! The guy selling it originally wanted 1700 for it but we offered him 1450 and he took it LOL. Car currently has 122,xxxmiles on it and has lived a rough life with 2 previous owners.

Though the front suspension is messed up, there are holes drilled all the way through the floor to mount Civic DX seats(?) and my shifter is cut in half :/.

Sorry about the dark pics, i can barely move the car out since it is the first manual car in the family and im a complete noob at it. This one is going to be a SLOOOWWW build.

Use to be two seats in here but the passenger one was missing bolts and the driver's one is barely held in there. Its so loose that you can rock in it like a rocking chair.

Crx did have a center console but me and my brother removed it becuase of the smashed in climate control and broken radio. Glove box was also broken off, so yay more weight reduction HAHA.

Nice! Definitely a project though.

Wtf on the shifter...was he trying to make his own short shifter? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dash2.gif)
You've just got to learn to be soft with the clutch on the release. It's not like the brake or gas where you can just quickly release the pedal.
Nice wheels though. and the rust on the seat rails is pretty common. Mine had that too.

even though you got less than the asking price I still feel like you were somewhat ripped off :-/ that looks like its in sub $1000 condition.

Does it at least run well?

holes in the floor can be fixed by having a shop weld steel plates to the underside of the car and than reupholster the interior floor.

or, if it's not a structural spot, you can get some aluminum sheet. maybe 1/8 inch and rivet it over the holes from the underside with sealer along the edge/rivets. Less weight. But really only i the holes are large enough to be worth that.

anyone can drive a manual. But it's more difficult to get those first few steps in the learning curve if all you've ever driven before is an automatic.

Scored some parts needed for the car yesterday at the junkyard.
(IMG:http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5774/img0242ql.jpg)

(IMG:http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/2546/img0244je.jpg)

And then figured out that the climate control that we got didnt fit the crx :/.
