I agree with new hood, as you said, when you do something, you do it right and bra over the dens is more like "lol, quickly mask the hood, too lazy to repair"
and since I see how much effort you put in that car, it would be shame to just cover it
thanks for reading (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Why not hit the dents out the hood and save the money? Someone jumped on the hood of my uncles truck and he hit it out.

depending on where the dents are, it could be impossible. plus a hood is a terrible place to have bondo. even just letting it drop too far to latch could cause the bondo to crack. Plus, if the dents are near the front, which i'm guessing they are since he mentioned covering them with a bra. There are usually support structures behind the front of the hood that makes it impossible to hammer from behind.

I've been through this before.......twice. getting a new hood is definitely the way to go.

yea I have 4 very small dents on a row, don't ask me how they got there and like j.red said, there are those straightening struts behind it so you cant dent it out, would need to work from the outside and I don't have the tools for that

and 3 big dents in the middle of the hood, I think it was due to a cat or something

valence is plastic correct? get a lhd and a right hand drive bumper valence, the exhaust hole should be on either side. cut them both in half, and weld the smooth sections together for instant cleaning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

also works for plastic front bumper (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
