Hey guys, I've been absent on the pixelcar scene for a while, those who know me, know me, and to those who don't I'm Shafz.

I live in London, and I drive a car you guys'd probably never heard of, or if you have its the superior turbo version; a 1997 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v Sportif.

The car has been in the family 11 years of its 13 year "life", and has only covered 44,000 miles, 9000 of those in my familys ownership.

So far the mods I've done are:

- Apiro Induction kit
- 6500k headlights
- Alpine IDA-X300 Headunit, backlit green
- Edge ED612A 12" Active Subwoofer
- Alpine 10cm Front Speakers
- Glanza V Corners/Indicators
- Alpine 10cm front speakers
- TTE SR Rear Spoiler (Only 5 door in the WORLD with one currently AFAIK, definitely only one in the UK)
- PI 40mm Lowering Springs
- 15" Ripspeed Flare alloy wheels on high performance tires
- 15% Rear window tints

Parts sitting at home:
- Turborevs 3" backbox
- Seat Cupra R Front Splitter (Can't fit, cars too low)

Heres the car as it progressed

Stuff all fitted.

(IMG:http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/5094/dsc07017resize.jpg)

And as the car stands today:

(IMG:http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/9432/dsc071221.jpg)

And my favourite picture:

(IMG:http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/7291/2205201021711.jpg)

But yeah thats my pride and joy, It's fastish for its size, JDM y0, great on fuel and tax, handles brilliantly now, and most of all its all mine. Note: The car was completely standard when I got it off my parents last september!

Comments please!

Shafz.

WB, awesome StarSlut (in Dutch i call it a StarSlet, and Slet = Slut in English.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) )

we deff need an Euro PCA meet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Belgian, Dutch, English, France and Germany, so it isn't that far. (except if other euro PCA members would want to go.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) )

and fairly OEM looking, not that obvious. but damn nice. just what i like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah a euro meet would be cool, thanks for the comment haha, I tried to keep it subtleish, I could of gone mad with the bodykits and TRD conversions but held back, expensive stuff.

Haha, the side stickers are standard! Came with the car in 1997! But yeah they're getting removed.

@carhartt - the Alpine IDA X series headunits are fricking awesome man I love it!

@Mkid - I can't get a lip cause I live in London where theres ATROCIOUS speedbumps, my standard exhaust scrapes already but I've got a backbox ready to go on, I'm not going for all out performance tbh.

Thanks for the feedback!

PS. Daniel me love you long time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)

EDIT: Audio video for Daniel my love <3, and the rest of you ofcourse!

Besides no one makes a proper lip for the N/As aftermarket, unless its a ultra rare TTE lip, and those go for like half the value of my car; unpainted. I can do a normal laguna/cupraR splitter on it, but that'd just scrape even worse, I can't even make it up my friends driveway.. too steep.

I can't wait till I can get insured on a PROPER car though.

Nope, theres NO aftermarket support for N/A's unless you do the turbo front end conversion, which is expensive and just makes your car look fake, cause it has a hood scoop etc. and in reality your cars still a 1.3 16v N/A.
