I wish that someone made a cold air intake for my engine... I might make my own, but it still costs about as much to do that as a proper kit for the 5.0 would.

The main pipe thing needs to be custom-fitted nearly every time. My Pull-A-Part has its fair share of awesome cars, too. I just had no idea they were for sale. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) To me, they were just awesome things with cool stuff inside and neat badges to pry off and pocket. |

So, uhh..... It's been in the shop for a long time. Short circuit. Didn't notice it until it was in for basic maintenance, and now they're holding onto it indefinitely until they find the problem.
The thing I love about my mechanic, is that any other place would say "Okay, we'll replace all the electrics and that'll be $1,500." but my guys are taking the time to pinpoint the specific thing to fix, and they're not even charging me to keep the car there all this time. Also, the labor going into finding the problem is totally free. If they find it and I want to fix it myself, I can just go and take it home without paying a dime. Of course, in that case I'd give a nice tip, but still. They're wonderful. |

Whooa, Ian's back!
Yeah, I definitely want to get to work as soon as possible. Sucks that it's STILL in the shop. I should have brought it to the British car show I went to today. It's an electrical problem, so the Jag owners could certainly help me out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/toung.gif) |

I got it back on Thursday, and it caught on fire Saturday morning. Nothing was damaged except for some sort of plug thing in the alternator that only costs $8 and can be replaced without tools, so it's no big setback at all. Still, what the hell.
