got any engine/exhaust sound virals? I got bored. http://tinypic.com/r/2dl5euc/7 If your speaker system has subwoofers, it should sound pretty close to what it actually sounds like. With my little sub on, it's almost exact. But if i turn the sub off, it sounds off. :/ |

thanks bud. i don't really want to do black. it's too generic imo. and they came wrinkle black stock.
I was kind of thinking like a dark bronze. like this but darker. (IMG:http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/josema4u/my%20car/006.jpg) or gold. (IMG:http://x2e.xanga.com/680854142163116245315/z11685182.jpg) also considered yellow a few times. (IMG:http://snailmotorsports.com/uploads/images/srt_valvecover_yellow2.jpg) edit: i'm not doing red because i won't be able to get powder coat red in the same color as my car from their catalog. and i don't want mismatched colors of red like i do now. |

idk. i thought about white for a long while back when i got the engine. But i feel like white would be kind of hard to pull off. It's basically got to be super clean to pull it off. And the original owner of the car had the engine bay sprayed with rust proofing way back whenever. I've been removing it as much as I can, but it's still going to show up a little. in other words, i don't really think i can pull off white.
The place is only good at single tone powder coats. ...and no, i hate rust. plus the valve cover is aluminum. |
