Guys, i think PCA sould have a tunes of the week thing. Work week, ex Mon-Fri.
Alot of hot tunes have been pumping out from alot of us, maybe we can select some of these tunes (1 a week) then montly put them (4, 1 for every week) in a poll to see who has won tune of the month. Then the 12 tunes that have been selected for tune's of the months enter a competition tune of the year. Top 3 get trophies under their post-count ect? good idea?

Very cool, carstylers does that and its pretty good I think, so do a lot of the mangacars france things or whatever. It sounds like a cool idea too, and we can have a poll for toon of the month, the four toons of the weeks go on and then we put the poll up.

what if a cool tune is released in the remianing few days of a month (if a month = 30 or 31 days and 4 weeks = 28 days => 2 or 3 days are not taken in consideration)

Saturday would go to the prior week, and Sunday would go into the advancing week

Different ranks would be intense also! I was going to propose prizes *trophy under name's* thing also

i think that are too much choices. ;) but a new tuner and a advanced tuner section is alright.

the thing with different ranks, is people will feel discriminated for being judged whether their newbie, medium, ect

Lolteon has got a point there, people will get mad for not being concidered 1 rank higher, and it will all end into a big fiasco, so the best is to do it without the rank system but just best tune of the week in general.

I think it IS a good idea, to have different ranks. Everytime you get a rank higher, it's like you gain respect. Just like joining a team. But, to keep the peace, i think everybody has to post in the beginner section, untill they get promoted by a moderator, or admin etc.

I think that this is a great idea, along with the trophies and ranks..

@simon(and every one) yea and if you get a win/good tune then you apply for promotion to mod/admin and from beginner section then to next you have to get 3 mod/admin aprove your tune yea?

Nah, anyone can do a decent tune and then the rest could be really crappy.. Mod should evaluate the tuner's last 3 tunes and make a decision

Woahwoahwoah! No 1 said anything about being promoted to admin amigos, this is strictly good tunes, not admin/mod spots.

Besides to be a mod its about your character, its not about your tunes really.
You cant be a duche and tune good and expect to be a mod.
Its a balanced job i guess....just this is just tunes of the week ect, lets not change anything.

I was thinking something that gives you a trophy every time you win a comp and it would put it in your profile or something, like a picture of a trophy and then the number of wins. and for official PCA events, the winner would get a special trophy customized to relate to the event.

so it would be like: (trophy) X (number of wins) and then under it or next to it would be your special trophies if youve won any.

yeah mkid's idea would be great with the trophy. I dont think trophies would really be so great or the toons of the week, but maybe toons of the month? or toons of the season, and it can be like themed after what season the month is in or what season it is.

this sound slike i great idea, i like readus idea with the "classes" of tuners but we would have to send our nominations into a board who would look at all the tunes.
they would choose the class of each people then choose the est tune out of them all.

you could always re-open the official PCA events section, and hold the comp for the 7 best tunes from each day in a week, and hand out the trophies from that only
