...bought an Lancer Evo
(IMG:http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/9297/img0680ub.th.jpg) (IMG:http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/2791/img0683p.th.jpg) (IMG:http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/2867/img0682o.th.jpg) (IMG:http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/2988/img0681zj.th.jpg) It's a lovely Evolution 5 finished in 'Satellite Silver', it's covered only 57,000 miles and cost my dad £5,995 ($9,530~). The best bit is that it's already got a few modifications, namely Tein Adjustable Coilovers worth like £2,500, a HKS induction kit and an aftermarket exhaust which I don't know what make it is, maybe HKS. He gets to pick it up the weekend after this next one (16th/17th Oct). Expect many photos of this and Ed's dad's Legacy. Excited isn't the word. |

Well, as some of you may have remembered (You probably didn't), we were supposed to be picking up the car today. Sadly this didn't happen as Lloyds TSB are dreadful and lost both of my dad's card applications. That said we did still go test drive it, and I got more photos.

Something that did make me laugh though was the sheer amount of Japanese cars on the road in that area. I mean I knew the Black Country had a load of modified cars. But Jesus, we saw another 3 Evos within 5 minutes Oh yeah and they had this Nissan Pao, never seen one of these outside of GT4 before. cool. I love Lloyd TSB's ad remixed with dubstep.
Also, I was driving behind an Evo 10, on the way to my uncle's who has a Ford Falcon Ba, with over 400hp, Garrett turbo. and my uncle also came over with his fully sick Celica, it's turbocharged, along with the full engine swap.. and he just bought a $75k HSV senator Series 2 Signiture. My uncles are rich, my family is not. Good luck joyriding. This post has been edited by DLuZive: Oct 16 2010, 11:33 AM |

Evo Xs are pretty sick, we saw an Evo VI, and Evo VIII, and a IX. We also saw 2 MR2s, a Pulsar GTi-R and a Supra.
The garage itself was pretty sick. Look... I don't really know what I'm looking for, lol, but yeah, i think the rear was the ugliest part so it would be good to swap it out
the rims aren't all that great either. |

Yo, Ben, Recognise that Imp? 1.8 VVTi mid-mounted lump, 6-point integral steel roll cage, completely custom front steering gemoetry, and a MR-2 style rear link up to suspension, it's less than 700kg and puts out around 250~bhp, it's biblically quick. |
