Bryce, if you swap a 5.0 in it, go with a o/r x pipe with flowmaster 40s. You car will thank you. It makes the most aggressive sound our of any other setup.

Turns out the fire melted some plugs on the alternator that can only be fixed by replacing the entire alternator.... Luckily, I found a cheap used one, so all is not lost.

New alternator is in, and it's running!
Also, stripes: (IMG:http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/536552_4010612830279_1169003518_n.jpg) |

omg the wheel gap and the offset (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gasp.gif) The only way to stance this car would be to raise the rear slightly, lower the front slightly, and put drag slicks on it. Which is way too expensive for an unemployed high school student. So I'm just going to wait until I can find some of these wheels, or really anything OEM that look better than mine. (IMG:http://forums.themustangsource.com/gallery/files/1/0/5/5/2/3/c2434_2b.jpg) I'll admit that I also wouldn't mind maybe dropping it about 1" in the front and 0.5" in the back. Just a teeny bit, because yeah, there is a lot of gap. |

Raise or leave alone. I hate low dragsters. If it wasn't too ridiculous, I'd say make it into a gasser.

Srsly guise. I never said I'm going to make it a dragster. All I said was that would be the only decent way to modify it if money wasn't an object. Or at least that's what I implied. Or tried to.

The Focus is my dad's. The plan was originally to find him a new car and give the Focus to me, but this just worked out better for us.

That white one's about as low as I'll ever go. And that's only if I lower it at all.

pussy magnet I know right. Seriously, it's kind of funny how this car actually does turn heads sometimes. I don't know if it's just the white-on-red or if a lot of people like foxbodies and I never noticed, but I'm not used to pedestrians staring at me while ignoring all the other cars. Except that one time when it caught on fire in the school parking lot....... That time, I understand why they were staring. |
